ÀJỌ — “togetherness, unity,” a collective belonging.
A pet-centered design house exploring modern life with pets through culture and care, while supporting animal welfare across West Africa and the diaspora.
We create thoughtful, design-led pieces rooted in care, responsible making, and a commitment to animal welfare. Because identity is never only human. It is shared.
We started ÀJỌPÀW because representation matters even in design.
Modern pet culture often reflects a narrow view of home and design. But the homes we knew were fuller: expressive, intentional, shaped by culture, care, and beautiful things. Our pets belonged to that world too; part of its style, its rituals, and its sense of occasion.
So, we created a brand that reflects that story, transparently
Crafted in small batches with organic, responsibly sourced materials. We partner with skilled artisans who share our commitment to thoughtful craft and sustainability.
ÀJỌPAW was created to tell a different kind of pet story, one where culture, design, and companionship meet.
We believe our pets are part of how we express who we are; our homes, our rituals, our joy. Yet, in the world of pet lifestyle and design, so many stories, especially from diaspora and BIPOC communities, are missing.
We exist to change that through products and stories that reflect a fuller picture of modern pet life. Because identity isn’t just human. It’s shared.
Our work is rooted in creativity, not categories. We find beauty in small routines — morning walks, shared spaces, the quiet rhythm between a human and their pet.
We are almost ready
to launch
But First, a Little Riddle for You...
I am something
We gather tales, textures, and time
Of the village – young, old, and wise
What is home, without the ones who wait?
For shelter is hollow without our fearless kin
So we thread them through memory’s loom
Our ode to companions
To never be without
Through tales, textures, and time
Our Mission

ÀJỌ: "togetherness, unity," a collective belonging.
A pet-centered design house exploring modern life with pets through culture, care, and storytelling, alongside work in animal welfare across West Africa and the diaspora.

We started ÀJỌPÀW because representation matters even in design.
Modern Pet life as it appeared in products and culture reflected a narrow world. The homes we knew were broader. Our pets carried our last names, our heritage, our language, and our sense of occasion. Yet, that story was rarely reflected in the things made for them.
So, we built a brand that could tell it transparently.
Our pieces are made in small batches, using responsibly sourced materials and organic fabrics. We collaborate with skilled artisans across different regions who share our standards for thoughtful craft and sustainability.
Our Mission
ÀJỌPÀW is for pet lovers, rescuers, and anyone who believes animals belong in our lives and in our stories.
Every animal deserves dignity and care. Through community initiatives, storytelling, and partnerships, we support a growing culture of compassion for stray and vulnerable animals.
Because how we treat animals says everything about who we are.
